Hothouse Productions back to Triathlon

Hothouse Productions is back producing triathlon after a five year break, during which time attention was focused on the Skiing World Cup, World Championships and sports lifestyle documentaries.

Royal Windsor Triathlon was produced by the established Hothouse Team for terrestrial television in the Channel 5 in the UK and Eurosport.

Hothouse Managing Director and Executive Producer, Nick Fellows added “we are delighted to be producing triathlon again after six happy years of production with the ITU, ETU, London Triathlon and the BTA.

Hothouse put together youth and experience for its eight person crew including Steve Trew, National Coach and BBC Olympic Commentator and award winning winter sports producer, George Meredith Hardy. Nick Fellows headed the crew and added “it’s time triathlon had a TV adrenalin boost from a production, commentary and quality distribution perspective. Our aim is to see the Royal Windsor Triathlon aired on terrestrial and satellite TV across Europe, North America and Asia. As well as via the internet and other specialist avenues”

The Royal Windsor Triathlon is a world class event, a great athlete line up and world class organisation, add Windsor Castle, Eton College and the River Thames and you have the ingredients for a fantastic triathlon event.

Hothouse Productions was founded by Nick Fellows in 1998, to create an alternative voice in sports, factual, lifestyle and adventure television programming. The company has brought lifestyle sports to terrestrial television, merging music, fashion, style and travel into the traditional event based sports formula with sports such as skiing and snowboarding, beach volleyball and triathlon. 01/08/08 Nick Fellows is currently working on the Red Bull Air Race series for Channel 4
09/04/08 The ski season isn’t over yet. Tune in to Channel 4 this Sunday, 13th April at 8 am for a 30 minute programme on the Carlsberg Verbier High Five event as it receives full coverage for the first time in the U.K. The event celebrates the stars of the FIS Skiing and Snowboarding World Cup, and gives fans the opportunity to meet and compete against these athletes.
02/04/08 Tune into Channel 4 this Sunday, 6th April at 8 a.m. for the final World Cup Skiing on 4 show of the 2007/08 season. World Cup Skiing on 4 will be in Meribel, France covering the British Land National Ski Championships.

Television presenter...full biography, details, showreel

Nick Fellows is currently working on the Red Bull Air Race. He is providing commentary for both the international programmes and also the Channel 4 series. The Red Bull Air race started in April 2008 in Abu Dhabi and will continue until the final event in Perth November 2008.

Nick Fellows has just finished presenting and Executive Producing the sixth series of World Cup Skiing on 4. The series provides Channel 4 with over 110 hours of programming.

Like last year, Nick is also presented and reported for CBC-Canada.

During the Autumn Nick worked on a documentary in South America which focused on the British team's training in South America.
