National Premier League Tennis

This Spring Hothouse Productions produced the National Premier League Tennis Finals for Channel 4. The NPL is the biggest sporting event to hit North East England this spring. This is the first time the event has been televised and the one hour programme can be seen on Channel 4 at 7.30 am on 20th May 2007.

Managing Director, Nick Fellows commentated that Hothouse Productions is extremely excited to be able to take a different approach to the production. "The televising of the NPL tournament will see a move away from the more traditional tennis programme formats. We wanted to give this programme the Channel 4 stamp…to make it fresh, cool and edgy, whilst still creating a credible show that appeals hard core tennis fans."

  • 01/08/08 Nick Fellows is currently working on the Red Bull Air Race series for Channel 4
  • 09/04/08 The ski season isn’t over yet. Tune in to Channel 4 this Sunday, 13th April at 8 am for a 30 minute programme on the Carlsberg Verbier High Five event as it receives full coverage for the first time in the U.K. The event celebrates the stars of the FIS Skiing and Snowboarding World Cup, and gives fans the opportunity to meet and compete against these athletes.
  • 02/04/08 Tune into Channel 4 this Sunday, 6th April at 8 a.m. for the final World Cup Skiing on 4 show of the 2007/08 season. World Cup Skiing on 4 will be in Meribel, France covering the British Land National Ski Championships.

Nick Fellows is currently working on the Red Bull Air Race. He is providing commentary for both the international programmes and also the Channel 4 series. The Red Bull Air race started in April 2008 in Abu Dhabi and will continue until the final event in Perth November 2008.

Nick FellowsNick Fellows has just finished presenting and Executive Producing the sixth series of World Cup Skiing on 4. The series provides Channel 4 with over 110 hours of programming.

Like last year, Nick is also presented and reported for CBC-Canada.


During the Autumn Nick worked on a documentary in South America which focused on the British team's training in South America.
