Kvitfjell, Norway

This week World Cup Skiing on 4 comes from the Norwegian resort of Kvitfjell for the men's double downhill weekend on Sunday 2nd March 2008 at 8 am.

Presenter Nick Fellows will be joined in the commentary by special guest Mark Tilston, who is the British Head Coach. The first downhill is a replacement of the cancelled event from Val d'Isere and the second event is the penultimate downhill of the season.

Our main feature this week is the "Battle of the Speed Skiers" as Didier Cuche and Bode Miller go head to head for the downhill title. Two wins for Didier would mean winning the downhill Crystal Globe in Norway but one slip up would mean Bode is back in the running.

Our regular resort guide focuses on the rustic charm of the Norwegian resort and its neighboring town of Lillehammer

As usual Chemmy Alcott will be on hand with fitness advice in her regular Fit to Ski section.

This week the World Cup Skiing on 4 series also brings you Alpine Highlights on Monday night as once again Nick Fellows will be joined in Kvitfjell by Mark Tilston

Nick Fellows also presents action from the Nordic World Cup on Tuesday night with the Liberec cross country events commentated on by Patrick Winterton.

On Friday night the focus will be on the Snowboard and Freestyle World Cup as Raz Cobbing commentates on the parallel giant slalom, snowboard cross and half pipe from Sungwoo.

Once again Channel 4 brings you a full week of wintersport. Tune in this Sunday 2nd March at 8 am for the double downhill weekend in Kvitfjell, Norway.
